New Priority Point Systems

The Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA) has led to improved ways to distribute benefits and tickets to Sooner Club members. With the implementation of Sooner & Championship Allocations, two priority point systems will also be used to protect home ticket priority ranking while insuring deductible gift options are compliant with TCJA.

To honor and recognize the significant resources many accounts have already given to OU Athletics, existing accounts will see their previous priority point total carried over to Sooner & Championship Points. For example, an account with 150 priority points in the former system will begin 2019 with 150 Sooner Points and 150 Championship Points.

Moving forward, different gifts will accumulate differing priority points to comply with TCJA.
