Buddy's Numbers

Hield was the only player in America who averaged more than 25.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg. He joined Kevin Durant (Texas, '06-07) and Michael Beasley (K-State, '07-08) as the only players in Big 12 history to accomplish this. His 46 points at Kansas (Jan. 4) were the second-most in a single game in Big 12 history.

    Buddy's Big Games

Hield had 12 games in 2015-16 scoring at least 30 points (shown below), which was two more than the rest of the Big 12 combined. It was the most 30-point games by a Sooner in a season since Wayman Tisdale in the 1983-84 season (15). The 12-game total was the second-most in Big 12 history (Michael Beasley-13). If that wasn't enough, Buddy also had 26 games with at least 20 points, and 19 games with at least 25 points.
